In that case your options are -
If you want to fit 2 pot rear brakes on , you either need the backplates from a 2001 onwards Sti or a version 4 or 5 Type R 2 door , the Subaru 2 pots or Brembo 2 pot rear calipers and discs will fit straight on without the need for a bracket.
If you don't want to do that , they you can fit the version 4 or 5 type R rear vented discs but with the 1993 to 1999 rear vented one pot calipers , this again will bolt straight on.
Keeping you existing backplates will not allow you to fit rear 2 pot calipers on
Cheers Ian

The WRX uses the same size shafts ect as a ' normal ' classic , both use the 160 diff , your car has the larger 180 diff , thicker drive shafts , larger bearing and handbrake , so the 2006 WRX hubs will not fit , you need the 2001 -205 STi rear hubs
