Default Best 18" width and offset for Hawkeye STi?

Had a google and a search on here but got lots of conflicting stuff. I don't want to negatively affect my handling, so I am thinking 7.5J or 8.0 if those aren't available.

When it comes to offset, are the standard 17's ET50? Would going up to ET52 mean the wheels stick out a little further or is it the other way around?

Cheers!

AFAIK the offset means the opposite. The lower the offset the more they will stick out..
