Yes they do use tritium - they don't glow very brightly, but obviously don't fade either. My Seiko with LumiBrite is much brighter initially, but fades after a couple of hours.

 

I saw the title and came on here to say Thunder Races discovery turbo weekdays at 06:00 but after reading the first post, it would be inappropriate I think

 

My watch is quite bright. I can see it across a dark room.

Mines a Traser "Code Blue" I think I paid £130 but they are about £150 these days. I would be more than happy to get one of the posher ones in time.

Do really like the Ball ones though.Be nice to have a spare £1500 knocking around!

 

My current favourite (bearing in mind that I'm not a watch geek) is my Tissot V8 chrono

I've got a 'Code Blue' - don't get me wrong; it's perfectly legible, just not what I would call bright.

 

I looked at the Monaco when they released the new 1's. Looked nice untill I tried it on and it just looked silly on my wrist.
