Weather looking cold and mainly dry on Saturday. Maximum temperature of 6. Blyton will feel like -6!

I'm hoping to pop up to Blyton at some point on Saturday, having followed your build I want to see you enjoying it.

Well after a good couple of sessions in the wet, 3rd session couple of warm up laps went through the wiggle down into second and bang ... Gearbox gone 2nd gear actually so on the look out for a full 6 speed setup now, oh well it had to happen sooner or later

Doh!

Is that going to be instead of the engine rebuild?

I arrived just after midday, you had already left.

The clouds darkened and the rain came, the organisers extended lunch until !4:00

Once the sprint actually started, the two wheel drive cars really struggled to get off the line.

Blyton was incredibly cold, thermometer said 4C with wind chill it felt much colder.

Nice MkI Escort Twin Cam out, although it looked like it was on forest suspension.

Hopefully catch up with you next year.

Its better to go on the last event of the year and have the winter to sort the right box than to go on the first and have to rush into finding the right box
