Thanks guys, Really happy with the result so far. Flocking is really easy and enjoyable well apart from accidently spraying my face ha ha. The roof was a sinch also.

Trails bud I am going to get one, but I have decided to put my other body mods on hold until I make some changes over winter.

Well it as come to that time again. Onwards with the rebuild.

My main concentration is going to be the engine and engine bay, but the exterior is going to be having some changes also. These shall be revealed as and when they happen.

Time for some pictures...

First engine upgrade...

http://i774.photobucket.com/albums/y...pscd4cf3f1.jpg

That is it so far. there will be plenty of updates in the coming weeks.

Comments welcome.

Ok then guys time for an update here are some more photos of the work so far.

Body mods have begun to but i think i will keep the secret until she's done.

Front end stripped down...

Test fitting the intercooler...

Out comes the engine...

After a steam clean it came up rather well...

Since I took these Me and my mate have stripped alot more out of the bay, it is almost completely bare. I have also decided not to go to mad on the engine rebuild (had to rain myself in) as I will be doing a pretty mad engine conversion within the next 18 months to two years.

The 19 row oil cooler has arrived to so test fitting that will soon take place.

comments welcome.

Well it already has sti internals (apparently) previous owner lost alot of history. But I knew the owner before him and he says its has them.

this is the first mechanical thing I have done to it, so on top of...

Sti internals (again apparently)
walbro fuel pump
td05 turbo (I think its a 16g)
Blitz nur spec
three port
HKS induction kit

I currently have on my list...

Front mount intercooler (brought)
19 row oil cooler (brought)
japspeed header
japspeed up pipe
Japspeed decat down pipe
Thinking yellow 440 injectors
Thinking of getting in touch with JGM about a symtek

That is as far as my list has got at the moment, fully open to suggestions on parts and things I will need or avoid.

All help welcome, big learning curve here ha ha.

First thing you have to do is decide how much bhp that you want and then source the right parts from that.

If I could start my project again I'd go with a 2.0 JDM bottom end and slap all my other ancillaries back on with a standard fit billet blower. Gearbox is going to be something to consider carefully; sti5/6/P1 should be good for 350 lbs\ft.

It's really, really easy to get carried away and scope creep will kick you in the nuts!!

With the mods you have listed you will get 300 bhp easily with a tdo5 turbo or maybe pick up a vf35 out of the newage sti which are cheap and readily available,I would proberly go with 550cc injectors just for the added safety margin and to future proof any future mods.

Symtek would be nice as well but a bit over kill for 300bhp depending on how much you can pick one up for apexi with controller is nice as well for classics.
