Seeing that Dispatches program about what happens to our fish in between it being caught and us buying it, I found that a bit of a worrying thought!
Thank goodness down here in Devon we are spoilt for choice of fish and they have just come off the boat which caught them most of the time.

The other countries in the Eu take no notice of that regulation and we are the only saps who go along with it. We hear that undersize fish can be seen on sale in those countries.
The common fisheries policy has decimated the fish available in our waters and our own fishermen are the only ones who have always practised a policy of conservation. The other EU countries have fished our waters out!
