Combination of factors, large turbine wheel and housing, large non billet compressor wheel and race profile camshafts.
To be fair this is the game you play, if you want lots of top end bhp you generally have to give something away elsewhere.
Bare in mind of course these results are on straight VPower and that meth and or race fuel make a huge difference in torque due to the available extra ignition advance.

Trust me, 50hp put in from 3000rpm to peak torque will pick up a fair bit of power, don't get power hungry, lol.

P.S Don't forget, it isn't 50hp at one point, it's another 50hp at every point in the rev range until it gets fizzled out by the management.
Add to that the quicker spool and earlier boost and 50hp becomes 90hp

What is a dry kit? Seen the wet kits though.
Regarding the Nos, is this still used at wide open throttle position? foot to the floor.
Or have things moved on so it usable inn various throttle positions?
Intreased on your thoughts Martyn.
Just had dyno run, at 514H.p/ 550 torque 2,5 T25. last night.

A dry kit uses the engines injectors for the extra fuel the basic wet kit uses wot! But the dry kit via ecu (syvecs) can be programmed to add n2o at any point.

The increase would be right through the rev range with more torque and bhp coming earlier in the rev range.
At Gus's request, here are the results of a similarly equipped 2.1 engine using Cosworth fast road camshafts and a Scoobyclinic Billet 35R .82.
VPower @ 1.9 bar.
Q16 race fuel @ 2 bar
Note how even at 4500rpm and before peak boost it has gained approx 80hp from the higher octane rated fuel.
When you look at this cars graphs and Gus's in more detail, you can see exactly what we were discussing earlier re spool vs top end punch.
Stus car whilst spooling much earlier doesn't hold peak power much beyond 7000rpm on the dyno.
Gus's whilst spooling approx 500rpm later, holds peak power for over 1000rpm longer and this perfectly suits his intended application.

Q16 can rock.... I can substantiate that one.
However, at the price, you wouldn't want to get too used to the power increase it can give. lol
12degs more ignition and boost untouched, it gave an additional 80bhp on my old engine.

Thanks for the details for the dry kit Nos.
I always thought that that you had to use wot, for Nos. I would be very interested in getting more details on a dry kit just to add a bit of power. And not at full throttle ,
I am running Syveccs so could be installed with no problem .
Maybe later next year and will see what Martyn can do for me .
