Must have been a pretty bad time for you initially Stu', glad to hear that it has all come right for you now and you can make a fresh start. You have done well to sort the problems out and hopefully it will continue to go well for you.

I between nearly going bankrupt, having my cousin hang himself due to wife problems having to work 60/70 hour weeks all year with 4 days holiday and generally just watching my life turn into a total mess, including discussing a split with the long term missus as we could not see any light at the end of the tunnel, i could not be happier that 2010 has buggered off.

Not sure it could get any harder than it has been, bar me dieing and if that happens then at least i dont have to worry about it.

Expecting this 2011 malarkey to be a remarkable improvement

Feeling quite upbeat about it all to be honest

Hmmm, 2010. Wasn't too bad for me in reality compared to the horrid times me and wifey-to-be endured in 2008/09.

My apprenticeship is coming on steadily, we found out she was pregnant (and I'm the dad ), I got a decent break DJ'ing outside of Scunny and making a good impression of myself.

2011? Our son is due on March 9th, another wage increase come September as I start the 3rd year of my apprenticeship, hopefully something more comes of my DJ'ing exploits...

...yeah, 2010 not great but certainly not terrible either.

 

2009 - aunty, uncle and dad all passed away.

2010 - where the hell did that go?!

2011 - had better go slower (but not when at work ) lol

 

Well done to you as an OP of this thread, you dealt with all very well Well done to others too, for facing up to what you invited and what turned up, and keeping your head above the water.

Quite a mixed year for me, too. Every life event was a lesson, every action and it's result added a point or two towards a self-proclaimed degree in life skills.

Good year to you all in 2011.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I Got totally engrossed in one I made over on PF where a lot of us really bared our souls, it eventually made for some very interesting reading... I even shed a tear or three!
