This is very common in AVCS heads, and believe it or not, it causes no issues.

Ive seen lots of these heads cracked now mate and many far far worse than yours. In all honesty i wouldnt worry about it. Admitedly i did change mine, but then i am aiming to use them on a potentail 550bhp+ engine build.

Many builders would still have used my cracked ones.

Youre not asking crazy money for these at all, finding a set that are not cracked is very very hard. i bet 99% of peoples happily running 2ltrs all have cracked heads and none of those people are the wiser.

My car was running beautifully at 400bhp and i only noticed the cracks on teardown for a forged build.

Bump very Good cheap set of AVCS heads

I'm running a set on my 2.35 build at approx 475bhp and they have similair cracks with no issues at all

running them on a classic is a head ache cos no classics have avcs so a after market ie syvecs etc ecu has to be used and you've got to wire all the sensors up (been there running that) its worth it if thats the way you want to go
