Wow thats an epic amount of work................
Top marks.
Given the amount of welding I think I would have found another shell, then just welded the ID numbers in.

That was one of the options given to me
but then the car would of
lost its originality for ever
and the car would then of been worthless

Yeah im happy how the car is turning out,it is at my mates garage for the brake lines replaced and a once over before the MOT,ive had to do it on a budget and i could of bought two maybe three Series McRae's with what this one has cost but number 001 has to be worth the money spent

I sold 001 about 8 years ago, it's just sold again a few months ago to a guy who is going to do a full nuts n bolts restoration
