If track day wouldn't you want to consider a gt30 billet? Spool up on that will be crazy for both road and track usage I should think ewith very good power levels! I wouldn't necessarily jump in for the "big powered" 35 turbos given your agenda.
It may be helpful to drop a line to say Paul Blamire/John Stevenson and ask of their opinions as they've both been "out there and done it". Also have a word with you mapper and see what he suggests.
