If kids jump out in front of you at the pits and you run them over then thats not due to you driving like a **** as they shouldn't be there!

in my view driving stupidly fast through a town yea thats not on, but were talking 15mph max there are speed humps on that road and unless you have no respect for your car it will break!!

Personally Ive had scoobs for the fun of driving them. Boosting it and dumping before lights aint what its all about. Used to do that with first one then ya just realise everyone thinks your a ****. Stick to the quiet back roads and have some proper banter.

Why don't you believe me though? It's not that unbelievable is it? I never said I have not done it full stop, I said I have never done it in my town centre and I most certainly have not! I assume there are Children there and People in general walking around who tend not to pay too much attention to cars as their minds are on their shopping or whatever, I would rather drive normally and not kill someone, Now get me out of town somewhere where it's not busy and I can see more there is nobody around then thats different, Why would anybody drive like a **** when they can see people are around?

I drive my car quick, I drive it at questionable speeds, but I don't have to thrash it through areas that could contain surprise people I'm not suggesting for one second that you drive like a normal person.. anyone that's been in the car with me, knows I don't go slow and I do take risks, but the risks are with my license not with other people's lives.

Totally agree with that, I've been told to slow down loads when I've been doing the speed limit. My Ninja isn't even that loud ..

Chill out people, if you drive fast through a town centre someone is going to pick you up on it .. give your side of the argument and move on

Ive had some Proffesional driving, and driver awerness tuition courtesy of my work and It opened my eyes a little, so not only do I feel more confident behind the wheel, but I also understand hazard preception more, thus I do NOT give it the beans in built up places.

As said by one of the Driver Tutors "As an 'Aware Driver' you must not trust anybody; you must view all other vehicles and pedestrians as potentially fatal missiles and, to that end, you must keep yourself well away from these dangers"

Give it the beans road, and if you die doing so do NOT take anyone else with you......

I think the pic above says it all, thats like my worst nightmare. Town Centres I stick to warbling my way through because i dont think I could live with myself if I killed someone and i aint got the guts to kill myself...so..could be a fairly miserable existence!!

Have I done it in the past, yes, with a ******* vengence! Back in the day I had a 2 litre mk1 escort I thrashed it everywhere! The noisier and faster I could go the better. And the week max power had a free card of stickers I bought 2 copies and plastered it with stickers. Yep a complete dick at times.

Having just had a big off yesterday morning, not much has changed, but I dont do it in town centres anymore....guess im getting old lol

Dont think you can put an old head on young shoulders though...
