Is yours a standard STI? What was the 'sedate drive' like? Long motorway miles at 70? I'm still trying to get to know mine so any tips would be appreciated
I'm feeling a Top Gear syle challenge. Everyone starts at the Prodrive factory and we see who can go the furthest
As noted in Post #24 it's an STi with PPP. The drive was from Leatheread to Leeds and back down to the Tesco just north of Leicester. It didn't start particularly steady but I was in no rush and just settled down after a while to an indicated 80ish apart from the occasional (ish) blast past a lane hogger.

I've just discovered on checking the route with Autoroute that it is actually 310 miles before my light came on so plus another 35 miles or so and I'm virtually up with the Missus! It was a bit boring though.

My average is 250 miles on a tank and mine is a SPORT!! No turbo so I guess it needs to be kept at slightly higher revs which isnt good for economy. Remember the M3 verses Eco car on topgear? I do get 430 on motorways though.

I have an update since originally posting this thread about milage? I have recently took off my dump valve and put it back to standard and I am now getting about 30 miles more to a tank with no change in the way I drive ??
Just thought I'd pass on the info
