Thank god for that, I didn't want you building a car only to find out you couldnt use it for what you wanted. Your best bet is to get yourself a copy of the MSA blue book, and build a car using that. You'll not go far wrong then.
It's coming along nicely though mate certainly looking the part.

No, but I've built a 2.35 using V4 Heads that had the full works done to them.
Ported Polished, double springs, titanium retainers, WRC Valves and the newgage solid lifter conversion too.
Heads were identical to the Gobstopper heads apart from cams and O-ring conversion.

Project stoped? does that mean your scraping the idea or is this a temp situation due to the corsa or what ever it is, bit difficult to make out what it is in that condition, i take it that you were inside it when that happend, which leads to my point i want to make about your project car.
Just to echo the point made by daz earlier, the bars you have welded in the front, i would suggest you reconsider them, as you have put them in your crumple zone, which as stated is there to absorbe impact, so not only have you compromised the cars ability to do that which will result in that force being transfered further along the chassis to the next weakest point, which will probably be somewhere around the front firewall/ floor pan, which could have very bad consiquences for driver and passenger, but god knows where those bars will go in the event of a crash dependant upon point of impact.
obviously it's your choice, but just felt the need to point this out by way of a bit of friendly advice.

Im hoping the cage will do the list mate the engine bay bars are getting continued into the inner roll cage so im hoping no where will buckle n crumple in the zones there ment to
