By doing so, it keeps the intake clean and also reduces the chance of knock as that can happen when oil is sucked into the combustion chamber.

Yes, if you intend to drive her like how she is intended to be driven. There are other alternatives (oil catch can, crawford air oil separator etc) but you really can't beat the quality of a JDM product IMO (especially if you're a JDM ***** like me)

I know I even went square plate so I could keep it

As far as I know it came from the states...about £150-£200 is all I know

I pulled the picture from the web, it doesn't photograph as well on the car. It was on the car when I bought it so not sure where it came from. Could never really find out much about it.
