I'm fairly happy with the game so far, think you need to have a wheel to get the full potential out of the game.
Have done a few of the main races and half of the special events, have mainly been racing the ring.
Had a quick go at the rallying section and didn't think to much of that i must admit.

Think the settings on my Spec C are as follows and that doesn't understeer much.
Lowered 25mm all round,
Spring rate i uprated by 4 points from standard,
First damper setting to 8 front and rear,
Second damper settings to 7 front and rear,
Anti roll bar to full front and rear,
camber to 1.0 front and rear.
I have it with no traction or driver aids and round the ring it sticks like glue.
Settings above are what i start all cars with and then move settings from this point.

Cutting my nose off to spite my face here but I want this game badly but I'm unwilling to buy another completely dung PS3 with its absolutely gash controller.

2nd You can purchase a Xbox style PS3 controller if your a XBox fanboy
3rd The game is great, but its definatly not as I imagined it after many years of development. I played GT5 5 a week ago, passed A, B, AI, BI and half way through the next Lic, and played almost all the Specials, but to be honest its not AMAZING. Maybe it will come mpore to life as I progress though it more .

IMO it is no better (and in some areas worse) than Forza 3. However, I must admit that I have spent more time on this than any other GT since 1 & 2. Currently at 42% complete, but it is rather "samey" with a sad lack of track variation (as already pointed out).

Anyone know how to do picture shoots when using a wheel? Is there a way to swap to the controller when wanting to set up pics?
Also im hoping the tracks and other stuff like more in car views get sorted by way of future updates as i think they delayed it so much they had to get a working version out and then add more content later.
Some of the ideas floating about soumd great such as road routes instead of tracks and having speed limits etc a bit like Test Drive.

If you want an action photo ie a racing lap, when viewing a replay with all the data on screen you can select to take a photo and then repeat the same process as above.

Bit of an awkward way of doing it, but you are limited to what you can do with the wheel, i can't seem to move around the car with the wheel.

You can use the wheel with limits, if you want to use the controller with the wheel connected i turn on the controller then hold down the PS button and change it to controller 1, then do the photo but have to disconnect the wheel switch off the controller and then reconnect the wheel to make it the main controls.
