reading the reviews it sounds like the game has grown too big. They should split the game into individual elements like pulling the rally side out etc.

I'm fairly happy with the game so far, think you need to have a wheel to get the full potential out of the game.

Have done a few of the main races and half of the special events, have mainly been racing the ring.

Had a quick go at the rallying section and didn't think to much of that i must admit.

I got the veyron earlier for completing one of the race series, took it on one of the courses and managed 254mph, then hit a wall.

Just a bad claim to fame i thought I'd share.

My best mate's girlfriend's brother designed the Redbull car that you get once you complete the game. That is all

Do yo have to buy most of the subarus throught he second hand car area, as there is only a small section of the cars in the dealership.

So far i have:

04 Spec C
05 Spec C

Purchase the variable centre differential and you can split the power between front and rear wheels, add some more to the back if it's understeering on the power.

If it's through the corner try softening the damper and spring on the front.

I have mate but it just doesn't compare to my GTR's handling even when it has over 800 bhp.

here are a couple more, the wagon was my 2nd car bought in game did most of my early races with it and was win win!

and ofc as much as people slam it, with a wheel and pedals the rally side of the game isnt so bad tbh.

Think the settings on my Spec C are as follows and that doesn't understeer much.

Lowered 25mm all round,
Spring rate i uprated by 4 points from standard,
First damper setting to 8 front and rear,
Second damper settings to 7 front and rear,
Anti roll bar to full front and rear,
camber to 1.0 front and rear.

I have it with no traction or driver aids and round the ring it sticks like glue.

Settings above are what i start all cars with and then move settings from this point.

!st There is nothing wrong with the PS3 console (especially the newer ones)
2nd You can purchase a Xbox style PS3 controller if your a XBox fanboy
3rd The game is great, but its definatly not as I imagined it after many years of development. I played GT5 5 a week ago, passed A, B, AI, BI and half way through the next Lic, and played almost all the Specials, but to be honest its not AMAZING. Maybe it will come mpore to life as I progress though it more .

IMO it is no better (and in some areas worse) than Forza 3. However, I must admit that I have spent more time on this than any other GT since 1 & 2. Currently at 42% complete, but it is rather "samey" with a sad lack of track variation (as already pointed out).

Isnt it the one you win when you complete it?

Does anyone know how you turn off those infuriating windscreen wipers?

If your doing a photo shoot take a picture you want, save it and in the main screen where the A and B spec stuff is on the left there is a load of icons. In them should be one for photos taken, press triangle on the photo and save to XMB. Then get a USB stick and plug it in, select the photo and press triangle, select copy and transfer it to the USB stick. Take it out plug into your PC, i then transfer onto Photobucket and then onto here.

If you want an action photo ie a racing lap, when viewing a replay with all the data on screen you can select to take a photo and then repeat the same process as above.

You can use the wheel with limits, if you want to use the controller with the wheel connected i turn on the controller then hold down the PS button and change it to controller 1, then do the photo but have to disconnect the wheel switch off the controller and then reconnect the wheel to make it the main controls.

Bit of an awkward way of doing it, but you are limited to what you can do with the wheel, i can't seem to move around the car with the wheel.
