Maybe slightly off topic, but is there any way to password protect my photos / videos on my HTC Desire? I did download a Vault type app but it was pants.

Some good apps to have:

Advanced Task Killer,
aDyno,
Angry Birds,
Astro File Manager,
Free Tube,
Facebook,
Facebook Chat,
Jewels,
myPlayer (beeb player),
psx4droid (playstation emulator),
SNesoid (Super Nintendo emulator),
Titanium backup.

Also you can try a few custom ROMs if you like messing with your phone plus a good recovery image like Amon_RA with the PS Freedom Kernal loaded which lets you run unsigned code on a PS3.

www.xda-developers.com is a good site.

BuzzBox - News aggregator and RSS feed reader
Amazon Kindle - Ebook reader
Facebook
Dropbox - easiest way to get files between Desire and PC
KeePassDroid - secure password manager
Wazzon - events services near where you are
RAC Traffic - road blackspots
Wapedia - wikipedia formatted for the small screen
Droid48 - HP calculator emulator
NetSentry - keep track of 3G data usage
mPlayer - BBC iplayer on you Desire

All the above are great apps and free

Can someone give me a deffinate answer as weather you can make Skype to Skype calls over 3g with the HTC HD i hate being told by some spotty teen that you can when they obviously dont know what their talking about. I have used an app in the past that supports this on android but the plug has been pulled now. You can get it from www.skype.com/m oh and it has to be able to be used on 3g as wellas wifi.
