Are you joking me ? Do you actually believe that ? It is clear that you know nothing about the enforced industrial meltdown of Iraq and the mechanisms for transporting all of Iraqs wealth to the USA's largest companies.
What 'wealth transfer'?
The US lost money with Iraq despite it enriching some companies at the US's taxpyers expense.

And you're asking people who reject Enlightenment thinking, submit to a bronze age sky fairy and employ wishthinking under the pain of death to observe this. I'm with you on it but dialogue is beginning to seem futile. Q. Do you believe in the God of the dessert people? A. Yes. End of reasoning.

Could you please, please, please explain in words that a simpleton like me can understand, what it is you mean by 'Enlightenment thinking'
Almost all of these countries were party to the Age of Enlightenment/Reason. Evolution, scientific method, secularism, emancipation, etc. all sprung from this period. If you ran the poll above in, say, the Middle East, evolution would barely register.

This is basic, immutable, historical fact: the West was shaped by the Enlightenment. Islam and the countries within which Islam is prevalant (to an overwhelming degree) was not. You keep bothering me with this, yet these terms are immediately familiar to anyone that has even a superficial knowledge of the discussion.

Here's a transcript I've just read from the front page of the google I did for you. It's a good example of a Muslim scholar's analysis of the Enlightenment and is helpful because it's not partisan and therefore you're less likely to think that I've posted it with bias or agenda.

Why is it so difficult for YOU to tell ME what YOU mean by Enlightenment thinking...and remember keep it simple
As it happens, I've already schooled you on this here:

From post 68. You're like a little kiddy that asks a question, gets a fair answer and then asks the same question a few days later.

Anyway, Enlightenment thinking: advocating free enquiry where sound human reasoning is the primary source of authority and legitimacy.
This is in opposition to theonomous thinking where God is the authority and legitimacy is with God's word via scripture.
I subcribe to the former, Islam the latter.

The message in this film comes as a package. What do you choose? Can you choose?
