This was obviously someone's pride and joy looking at the parts. I am really surprised a car like this hasn't left a trace somewhere on some forum or somewhere on the internet as a project.

Cars like this take a fair bit to sell anyway. I don't think it is the price, seeming in such a hurry to sell and constantly reducing the price might raise some peoples suspicions.

Mind you, if I had the space in my garage I would definitely get this for around the 5K mark. Even if it does require some work it is still a bargain.

hi yeah im not going to lie i am in a hurry to sell as with insurance and the fact that i cannot buy a more suited car for my partner until it sells is a big issue , and yes i have reduced the price as some of the comments have made me feel i have over priced the car so i have reduced the price as i thought this may tempt a sale 5350 is my rock bottom price , the car needs no work and i would welcome any inspection, today is my last day of making any effort to sell car as like you said maybe i seem i bit to keen but the basic fact is that i do need it gone asap, ive had 3 no shows , ive looked over scooby sites in the area car came from but nothing , this car has been truly cherised i just dont understand why people would think that all the care and love that has been spent on car why it wouldnt have uprated block as everthing else is he told me it had cosworth pistons but i havnt stated before as i thought that they wouldnt go on my car ive since been told differennt , its on ebay now and if it doesnt sell then ii will be gutted but i know as soon as some one views they will buy, i kept bumping add so it get lots of view rather than dropping to the bottom really quick n not getting view , thanx for comments taken on board

Well done mate!
The lack of evidence around the engine rebuild could have really sunk you, but you sold it for more than you had it advertised both on here and on ebay! Plus it didn't take all that long, so you deserve a pint or two tonight!

I know I'm a newbie on here but that seems rather strange?? You reduced the price to 5350 I think it was, and someone came along and bought it for 6 grand??
Did I miss something??

If I was selling a car, in particular a Scoob, my first port of call would be here..... followed by a freebies ad on Pistonheads, then a eBay advert along with Autotrader, and then last resort for me.... but on the road side with £5999 in the window..
Soo all that, means that he could have sold it anywhere, but actualy selling the car on here or ebay is a nono. I looked at the eBay advert.... erm I mean all 15 of them and it failed to sell - http://completed.shop.ebay.co.uk/i.h....c0.m270.l1313

Ohhh and all 1 day listings wtf
