ooooooo joe my mate. Its changed a bit from when we went to pick it up. I think the headlights will look good when the other red bits appear on the car, maybe the headlights should have stayed standard until you had the wheels lol.

YOU HAVE THE SUBARU BUG NOW lol

Bit of an update, will be another next week.

Not done much since last post, changed wheels & its being lowered at the minute as the springs snapped.

Wheels as i picked them up...

In Primer...

Base Coat...

Car having wheels fitted...

Some pics of car with new rims on...

Due to the heavy snow we had the front springs froze & then the weight caused them to snap (so i've been told).

Will update with pics when its lowered.

The front lights look like they have been out on the lash and looking a little sorry for themselfs. Bloodshot. rest of the car looks good.

erm, cant remember to be honest, try gas mark 6 & check them every 5 mins. Think it was about 15-20 mins before the silicone went tacky. But it is about an afternoons work, not long at all for such a big change.

The caps look really good, did you use Plasticote? I think the headlamps would look better if you did them black with a red stripe around the edge of the reflector so they look like the wheels. Just my personal taste, but if you like how they look that's the bottom line providing it does not become an MOT issue. The carbon wrap looks good too, I was thinking about getting a carbon cover so maybe the wrap might be worth a go as long as it can cope in that environment.

all the best

Tim
