'95 Series Mcrae, no mods
Subaru fitted basic (Cobra) immobiliser.

Driveway storage, rural postcode

29yrs, full no claims, no convictions

AA £880!!!!

Directline £650 (no requirement for Tracking device)

Axa £504, required cat 1

Tesco quoted £487 but required a Tracking device (unprotected no claims). Curiously, including my partner reduced the premium by £35 despite a claim (non fault) and a conviction.

Be warned, however, Priviledge (who seem to be linked to Directline and Tesco) were the other driver's insurers in her accident andare still refusing to admit liability despite her being hit by him whilst stationary and the police are planning to prosecute. Not good.

A Plan (Axa)

Mods - Yes - you could say that! (Including cosmetics - e.g. Brakes and Wheels)
No Tracker or other stupid clauses
Bans - yes plenty - but now 5 years ago
12 years no claims
Bristol

Unprotected £1233 (30 yrs) with wifey... 28 (never a claim or conviction)
£500 excess

Only other company that would match was Barclays - but I got a tosser on the phone who didnt believe the quote from A Plan anyway - and if I'd switched I would not be able to go back as they (Axa) wont accept a car with an uprated turbo as 'new' business

Place like Adrian Flux - a joke - not even close and it takes hours to get through
Keith Michaels wont touch due to previous driving record

Most companies would not touch due to Turbo change!
