Nobody's mentioned Driven...
At the end of the day the only fair test would be for Plato to do 10 timed laps in each car and take the average. Same driver and enough laps to even out mistakes etc. If they did this youd all complain it was boring watching him race the clock. They cant win
It was a national Jason Plato day yesterday and I thought Driven was a lot better for it. In fact I thought yesterdays Driven was the most entertaining format I've seen for a car programme since the Clarkson days at TG. All the lads having a great big laugh...
If there was only one show, the best presenting team would have to be Clarkson, Plato and ...er...Brewer...or Butler-Henderson.

Well, I really enjoyed it. It was the best one they have done for ages. It was only supposed to be a bit of fun and they didn't do many laps. There was no mention of brake mods either so they must have know it was a short race. First car to the first corner would likely win it.
Amanda was nice, and she looked even better last week.....
The Bently suprised me as I thought it would have been blown away by the Lotus but wasn't. Lots of fun if you can afford it.
More of the same please.

Last night's Driven:
The MaxPower boys vs. Lotus chaps vs. Honda Civic Type-R
Interesting little spot, spoilt completely by making the acceleration tests and handling stuff a RACE, and not vs. the clock.
What's the point of trying to TEST stuff, if you're methodology is utterly flawed?
Let's test 3 cars, two with racing drivers and one with a hapless girly and see what happens?
They should have all had a go in each car vs. the clock and averaged the times.
I preferred the XR4x4 fettled the Lotus boys, of course!
