You've got to get one now fella!

Kind of shows that our Cars have a Rep (boy racer) etc. If we need parts it's a Scrap yard. Audi RS4, prob cost £1000 for one wing!

My mate got some cash off his Father in Law. Lottery win

Anyway I told him to go for an RS4. Came round the other week in an 08 A4 Tdi S Line. Very nice don't get me wrong. But it's only 143bhp. Said the RS4 wasn't Practical Fuel wise. Bollocks with the money they have who cares!

Look forward to this Jon

It's on the cards, I just have some thing I want to achieve with the scooby before I sell it so I'll be looking in about 18 months time

RS4, plus decent exhaust plus remap

For 3000 miles a year who cares about fuel

There's an estate lives round the corner from me, sounds awesome when he goes past, which is praise when my area is littered with M3/5s, Maseratis, AMGs but to name a few, my scooby is in with the rest of the trash

£1064 sounds a bit steep, assuming you've owned the car for a while.

Renewal notice just come through, was paying £840 but renewal quote £1,404!! Rang up and they can't justify increase all they can say it is 'the best price they can do' told them to stick it and will go elsewhere. Spent all afternoon looking online/ringing round and best is Admiral at £1,020. Adrian Flux wanted £3k and Sky Insurance won't insure an Impreza at a Manchester postcode... Swinton came out at £4,400 despite being told by some chimp ringing from a comparison website saying they were the best company based on my details.

Any more suggestions?

I had the same comparison call, they passed me to Swinton whom cam back at £1600 . Told them where to go too.

Has Moley given you a quote??

Keith michaels might be worth a call.

Tried to ring the number at the start of his thread but wasn't working, will try them again tomorrow. Have a feeling a Manchester postcode isn't a good start coupled with the fact I've only had the car 6 months and park it in a 'residential parking' area at night.

I was looking at wr1, but quoted 3k!!!
