All you chaps complaining about this thread must see the irony in your posts ... Pete must be pissing himself (literally as he's old)

Picture the scene PaulC72 .....

You are offered a TV which has a flashing green pixel, this TV is going to cost you very nearly £1,000.

However, another offer comes along, a TV with a flashing green pixel, but this time it is free.

The seller of the first is telling you that you have to accept the TV and shut up moaning.

But, by fighting your corner, a nice man in a wig tells you that you can have the second TV.

Which one would you choose?

You see, in that case, it was mainly to do with what is deemed acceptable from a £1,000 item. A lot is acceptable from a Free item I'm sure you will agree?

Or is all the logic lost on you?

Logic, certainly not lost Pete.

So it was a priciple thing then I fight battles on those types of grounds too.

My time and effort are free to me, to do with as I please. You may spend your time fighting with little dwarfs and gnomes in Model Workshop ... I choose to take on massive corporations and make them do what they should do. It's a choice we all make to suit ourselves, none is right or wrong.
Therein lies the problem, you have WAY too much time on your hands.

I have about 2 hours a day when i can relax, the last thing i want is more hassle, i just want curry and beer!

Would you chase these crusades if you were a working man, i doubt it, do you look like Victor Meldrew by any chance?

See, that's where we are different ..... I have the same 2 hours, but I wouldn't waste them on such empty things as beer and curries!

I thought you would all like to know that this issue is sorted .... I have been repaid what was due plus compensation of 50% of the amount in dispute.

Well done LloydsTSB!

Now, where are those missing Batteries ..........................
