Why should they worry about you Pete? All they want is your cash in hand and all they ever see are £ signs anyway!

Being the King of an 'out-house' is nothing to boast about Pete.

Don't you wish, just once, you could start a thread which was interesting enough to get beyond 3 posts?

That said, the fight is what I enjoy ..... the financial amount is secondary.
Sad old codger with **** all better to do, a nightmare customer i wouldnt want in my premises, always moaning and wanting to have the red carpet rolled out when the actual amount of business you provide is not worth the hassle you would give for the next year after the purchase.

"its the fight i enjoy", get a ******* hobby ffs, how much are we talking here, 20 quid, 50 quid, you will have spent probably 20 man hours chasing this up by the end, is your time that worthless?

I would bar you from my premises without a second thought, who needs the hassle of someone with delusions of grandeur!

Im sorry but you do sound like the customer from hell, haveing never seen the curries thread before I stupidly opened it up and as soon as I saw it was 40 pages long all for a single pixel fault I closed it.

Your the sort of person who does indeed get pleasure in constantly moaning about issues that you know are an everyday occurance and that you will never be able to resolve to YOUR satisfaction but you still insist on continuing with your fruitless tasks which this obviously is, the bank obviously knows what they are doing and fighting on has and will probably cost you more in time and effort than the very small amount that YOU claim they owe you.

My advice is give it up and get yourself a hobby like counting matchsticks or something then maybe people in customer service may be able to sleep at night knowing that another nutter is using there time more constructivley.

Pete I took a credit card company to the Ombudsman. Was a waste of time. TheCC company were charging 39%. Loads of folks were complaining. Ombudsman were pathetic. I have no idea why they even exist.
Thankfully, I cleared the card and sent then a snotty letter. Made me feel good

I suppose you have to find somewhere to put the £90K that you get paid as a retired part timer.

You don't 'quite' understand the concept of fighting for a principle, do you?

My time and effort are free to me, to do with as I please. You may spend your time fighting with little dwarfs and gnomes in Model Workshop ... I choose to take on massive corporations and make them do what they should do. It's a choice we all make to suit ourselves, none is right or wrong.

A Retired Part-Timer cannot command £90k a year ..... a 'CONSULTANT' however, can command £150k (past the age of retirement, or not)

I still watch the TV ..... decided to wait while TV's developed and got cheaper and cheaper.

I could see the HD Freeview on the horizon, why buy and buy again? So I await the Freeview 50" Plasma's to drop to a sensible level .......

Hiya

I may just issue a summons on Lloyds Bank ...... that will resolve it quickly.

But, I must await their 'investigation' ...

Fair enough, so in the end the TV was ok to watch then I suppose it must have been a principle thing.
