And yet they still only broadcast most of their news reports from there on a fuzzy two-bob laptop webcam!

I can't help thinking about the tens of thousands of people over the years who have been kept in appalling conditions, often in solitary confinement, over the years. During wars (Japan, Vietnam) and in harsh regimes (China, Burma, Korea etc). Most without hope

Like NL, the BBC regard it as their duty to employ as many unnecessary people as possible and to pay as much as they can with no thought of the licence payers' money that they are wasting!
