It was but helped by the fact Braga came out and tried to play football, something many teams in the Premiership wont do and shut up shop against us. We need to learn how to break down those who shut up shop because that is where we have struggled over the past 5/6 years. I believe we are getting there as we have beaten Blackburn and Bolton back to back and they are two of our worst opponents in the Premiership for shutting up shop against us and punting up the long ball.

Our midfield was stunning. the way Cesc and Jack linked up was at times breath taking.
Havent been that happy for a while with the quality we showed.
Life without Cesc is daunting

^^ Isn't that cos the opposition were pants though? They struggle to replicate it against hardcore teams IMHO

They are not pants though. 4th in Portugal, finished 2nd last year. knocked Celtic and Sevilla out of qualifiers.
Just dont think they had seen footy that fast before

Pathetic
Its what i was getting at above, those must win games which we were just too complacent over once again. Song should never have been sent off and what the hell is Rosicky doing taking penalties ahead of our only striker Chamahk. The defence once again showed how weak they are to concede that goal. Wenger hasn't learnt as usual and once again this season we will get hammered by the likes of Chelsea.

I thought defence was ok tbh. both CB gave a good example and they never really looked to break us with high punt ***** which has always been our weakness. Clichy (think it was him) clearance got deflected and it was laid on for Bent.
I saw it coming though same as always some how.
im not disapointed but we lacked cutting edge in final 3rd for some reason, especially after wed.
Showed how much we need Cesc in midfield aswell

I only saw it on MOD and so only going on that. But as you say you see it coming when we are only 1 goal up and i think that is what sums up our defence, they simply can't deal with the pressure like Utd or Chelsea do. Never used to be like that but Wenger has always been weak defensively after the days of adams and keown and then toure and campbell its just gone down hill.
As they pointed out on MOD the squad is physically weak and can't compete on strength with Chelsea's squad. Bendtner is our only big player the rest of the squad look like kids and are muscled off the ball too easily when it gets physical.
This is why we don't struggle as much in the Champions League games as the foreign clubs aren't physical like the the Premiership. When we lose in the Champions League its because we've been out played and not out muscled.

What a shambles yesterday was. And this shows why:

£56m profit and he wouldn't even buy a goalkeeper ffs. This is why I wont be sad the day Wenger leaves unless he is replaced with another tight fisted git who wont buy players.
He goes on about Diaby etc, he isn't a top player ffs and wouldn't get in the squads at Utd or Chelsea or half the rest of the Premiership for that matter

I couldnt see this thread so was going to start a new one later
Pretty happy with the start tbh.
Fabianski has proved himself imo and should remain in the sticks. The young Polish lad looks a great prospect to.
Song has been awesome but im hoping he stays back a little more.
Get rid of Denilson......nuff said lol
Interesting to see what happens when RVP is fit as Chamack has been great as a holding striker.
I hate to say it but Bendtner has been a good impact sub but it wont be long before he is moaning thats he's the best and should start etc.
Great seeing Rosicky back, one of our only Midfielders happy to shoot on site and dive in when needed.
Not happy at how easy some of our players are going down either. Chamack and Eboue.
Personally think we were unlucky against Chelsea, played well and created. Drogba effect again
Good to hear from you Paul
