Dole scum take note...

I know this comment was meant tongue and cheek, but if you look at it seriously that will cost the firms who maintain and build the roads in training and lower the salary of those already in the industry with the new cheap labour.

in a previous thread a week or so ago i mentioned the fact that the unemployed scrounging feckless, shiftless characters could be sent to afghanistan to hunt for mines or IEDs. failing that they could be used as human shields for the real men and women out there putting their lives on the line every day, sometimes for less than these cvnts are getting of the dole. sorry just boils my **** folks.

I honestly don't understand why peeps on the dole can't do an honest weeks work for the local authorities ... there might be no full time paid job available but there sure is work that needs doing Some might be unable to work but must be the minority.

you establish a work ethic for your dole money instead of sitting on your hole all week waiting for it to be handed to you. you go out to work, you do something constructive for the country you're quite happy to take handouts from

now TX, some people want to work and through circumstance cant get work. others just want the state to pay for everything and work has never entered their cloudiest dreams. forced labour makes us no better than N Korea or China. pay them minimum wage. long hours i know but at least they might have a sense of worth, and maybe spur them on to find other jobs .

Cameron is on your case, better not have any dodgy credit history

Once again a sensible decision from our new government, glad I voted Tory

I am afraid alot do -- its called an internship and it is another import from America
It works like this, companies rely on new recruits working for free (subsidised by parents) to get on the job training in their chosen occupation.
think of it as a white collar apprentiship scheme
on the plus side they usually lead to well paid (50k and above) jobs
it is quite a neat way of keeping the poor out of the top jobs, because they obvioulsy can't work for nothing

I lost my job in April 2008 due to medical reasons. I was therefore restricted in what I could do. Yeah I pissed and moaned for a while, did the whole self pity thing BUT I applied for these jobs with loads of other applicants even if not qualified. Why? Because I could gain feedback on what employers wanted. Now if I could have done work experience for nothing to fill my days then I would. I couldn't personally find anything suitable at the time due to said medical reasons but I applied for as many jobs as I could. I don't have kids yet, don't live in council accomodation so literally had to survive on doing little favours for family and friends, £49.50 a week dole and the Mrs factory wage.
I searched high and low and eventually scraped into an engineering apprenticeship. There were 500+ applicants and 70 were taken on. I was one because I wanted it badly! I'm not the most intelligent guy ever but can put the effort into learning when necessary.
I personally would rather see many of the scroungers (you know the career chav scum) sweeping the streets for their benefits. Coming on here and screaming that there isn't any jobs is madness. You're telling me there is absolutely not ONE job where you are which you could apply for? Nothing unskilled, nothing part time, absolutely nothing? Or is it the "I'm not working shovelling **** for £5.80 p/h 'cos I have a trade" attitude... genuine question fella
You wanna know what I earn? Well in my previous job in a simple warehouse £22,000 a year basic on nights - about £10 p/h for a 48 hour week. Lost that (as mentioned above) and had to sell possessions to slave off bankrupcy and the high possibility of losing my home I'd worked hard for.
Now? I earn £117 a week as an apprentice (and I'm 26 - YES 26). Even on the 3rd year of the apprenticeship I'll 'only' be on approx. £15,500 BUT I'm in work and enjoying not being on benefits. Ok I get some working tax credits due to mine and the Mrs low income but it's certainly a world away from the income support, DLA, child benefit scrounging scum who choose to do that.
So just have a think about the points above and remember you won't get help on here with the attitude you have at the minute throwing insults around.

No offence but the jobs you may refer to where 200 people are applying may not necessarily be your **** shovelling jobs which a lot take on temporarily whilst looking for (as you mentioned) a trade related job.

Oh and for your information before I leave you to make yourself look more stupid, selling possessions to survive serves no inclinations as to living beyond my means. I was a young homeowner (still am technically) with no savings and pretty fresh on the property ladder. Suppose I could have done the chav thing and let everyone take me to court but I have pride and took responsibilty.
I'll leave it at that.

No offence but your unreadable 'txt spk' drivel of a reply (and boasting of materialistic possessions) tells me enough about your personality

can i just chip in against the national service ... last thing i want with me when on a range is some little scumbag with a loaded weapon..... i do know the values that it introduces but think of it this way 99 per cent of us servicemen and women are good honest people which is why we can be trusted to do the job we do this would not be the case if we just let "anyone" in just my opinion not having a go at anyone

Seriously, you look like a tool. Give up.
(By the way, it's the chav scum that write in 'txt spk' with no punctuation and in riddles - there's a good "boyo" ).
