Hope you don't think I'm being rude, but dunno what dealers are telling you that, but Evo has a 35k P reg in a Lotus dealer for 15k and the website has:

Hi Greg, no I don't think its rude at all. You have to get the right price. The original price was based on what Storm of Leicester suggested for the car. It also has the hard top which I think was about £1500 and really sets the car apart, although you never get what you pay for extras.
But give him a call, hes a nice guy. He might except £15000 if the deal could be done quick enough. As I said he has already bought the new car and will need to find the space in the garage very shortly.
