I jokingly said a couple of pages back that Roy's had his time and should go, but unless we start lining us up in a more positive manner he needs to go. I think this job maybe beyond him.
This season is a write off already. Couple of decent signings in January will show some intent and lets see us spend some cash in the summer and start to build a team.

Agree with you NAF but what concerns me is this. If the new owners feel as we do, how much money will they give him in January? Would you give a manager £30 million in Jan, if you werent sure he'd start the next season with you? Probably not.

I think Roy although a capable manager cannot deal with the pressures of a top club. I would also get rid of sammy lee, did you notice our fortunes downturn when he came back from bolton.
King Kenny has expressed his interest in the job, I would give it him, he would get them playing nice football with plenty of attacking intent. Why Jonahovic (sp) isnt given a chance I dont know, also ngog has shown his worth this season, I would start with him up front with torres. People are calling Torres but he simply isnt getting the service. I dont think liverpool players know what formation they are playing most of the time, and as for rodriguez - wtf. Konchesky as well, not a liverpool player, Insua was a better player, and younger as well

King Kenny PMSL
Lets remember he inherited a decent team, ask yourselves what did he do at Newcastle ?
He's the last person you want managing your club.
Rafa is your man

I can see why Fergie went after Bale a couple of years back he has been very impressive all year since he came back from injury, I reckon he added anywhere in the region of £10-15m to his value last night, will he start next season for Spurs ?, probably not, Mourinho will snap him up.

Whatever you say about us and the Mancs at least we dont have to resort to this **** to create an atmosphere.
Quote/ Chelsea are trying: “There will also be the new giant flags you may have noticed flying high in recent weeks”.
They’ve even had to politely request their fans get into the ground early to try and build themselves up a bit: “Supporters can play their part by adding to the colour and by filling the stadium early to build the atmosphere prior to the whistle.” Wow, really?
And as an incentive, they’ll make sure that few people miss out on the freebies: “This season, one free flag has been placed at every other seat but against Liverpool, there will be a flag awaiting at each seat in the regular parts of the stadium.”
Wesley Barton is the brains behind this plastic fan idea: “With it being the last Champions League game of the season at home, but hopefully not our last Champions League game,” he said, “we want to have a fantastic atmosphere.” He’s a supervisor, supervises stadium tours, and has thought this all through: “It creates a bit of atmosphere seeing that sea of blue when the players come out and it is great for TV as well.”
If I’d not seen these quotes myself on the official Chelsea website I’d have assumed somebody was on a wind-up, or sending me a script from a new sit-com: “Anything to try to inspire the players is worth it. We have heard the players do like it and anything to give them that extra one per cent is valuable.” /Quote

my mate is a chelsea fan and has taken me up to stamford bridge a few times to watch them, what a dead stadium and the only chant they have is CHELSEA repeated very slowly every few minutes.

Except when Liverpool come to town, and "Going Down, Going Down" is chanted repeatedly

Great? Hmm. I thought we looked shaky at the back, and very lacking in confidence. Going forwards we looked better but let's see how Woy shapes us up against Bolton. A long hard season ahead.
Loved the text on 606 Sunday night. "Mark my words, Liverpool will by top by the new year"
Ash gets about doesn't he?
