Thought Cole wanted to play more games? Banned already!

NAF 16 August 2010 08:46 AM

shouldn't have been a red imho but didnt need to slide in either , arsenal player was going nowhere

pauld37 16 August 2010 10:45 AM

It was a bit harsh, but two footed and all that. I forgot anyway, it wasn't more games JC wanted, it was more money! ;)

As I've said in the Arsenal thread,I think it was a red card. It's was silly tackle but i think he was just trying to show the Liverpool fans some commitment.

Not much to say really

Man city were much better last night

Roy Hodgson has a lot of work to do

Funkii Munkii 25 August 2010 10:41 AM

Torres and Gerrard out of tonights game.

Torres seems to have been injured on and off for something like 18 months now, must be a concern. Was Gerrard carrying the injury on Monday as he was non existent.

Mascerano refusing to play, baptism of fire for Woy.

Pretty much spot on. Nothing that we didn't know though.

I still think we'll win the league by 4 points. :luxhello:

;)

FM: I think you're getting confused with the Champions League qualifiers. Liverpool are attempting to qualify for the heady heights of the Europa League group stages and so play on Thursday.

Let's hope it doesn't go to penalties: for Joe Cole's sake! Woy must be wuing last week's penalty miss. Cole's not exactly had an ideal start with his new club, has he?

Aquilani out on loan then.....

£20 mil, a year to get him fit then let him play for another team risking coming back injured. Veron isn't looking such a bad buy anymore :D

You have to say that all of the big Premier League teams have made some dreadful big-money purchases down the years. I won't bother to name them all, as we all have our "favourites", but how many of them enhanced their reputation and subsequently left our shores for much more than we paid for them? I'm not talking about the relatively unknown/unproven "cheapish" signings like Christiano Ronaldo who then came good, but those big international stars like Shevchenko, Robinho etc. who were happy to take the cash, put in half-hearted performances each week and then just clear off back to the sunshine! ;)

STi wanna Subaru 25 August 2010 03:13 PM

Kleberson.... ah yeah he was up with AA :D

In this case though T2 he's not really had a chance to show how good or crap he is. Seems a strange deal for LFC to me but time will tell.

PS I called how great CR7 would be I think ;)

Your wrong about Shevchenko. He always tried, his problem was that Mourinho really never wanted him at the club and he knew it,the league was to fast for his game and when he finally started to look like the player we knew at AC Milan he got injured, his wife hated England and he never cleared off back to the sunshine after Chelsea,he went back home.
