EBC Brakes new generation disc pad materials tests and reviews
I was completely anti EBC pads and quite vocal on the subect on SN since having a set in my scoob 9 or so years ago, i could not imagine a worse pad, wooden and ust did not stop the car more like an on/off switch than progressive.
The new 2010 pads are worlds apart as per my review and nice one EBC for getting it together.
Pads in my Honda are amazing.

I have now been on the Nürburgring for 8days, and i most say that i´m impressed with the brakeperformance of the bluestuff pads,they work extremly well, and i have tried almost any other marks of pads, from DS2500/DS3000 to PF Z rated pads, and the bluestuff outperformance them all, and that is while they are completly silent, with no screming when cold,also long lasting
So eXtreemly happy to use these pads again
my engine blew a bigend bearing , possible becourse of oilsurge, maybe it was the 1.3G braking, that coursed it

Done over a 1000 miles on these now along with a new set of discs 500 miles ago. Still working very well and saved my **** the other night when someone over took a parked car at the top of the blind summit on a steep hill and drove straight at me.
Managed to get the Blue's to fade today, that was after a very spirted drive down some back lanes with a hell of a lot of braking. total time was approx 20 minutes which would equate to a short track session but with plenty more corners than you would encounter on track. Didn't take long to cool back down and we were off again with the same brillient level of grip as before.
The same stretch of road had the Ksport Sport pads dead within 5 minutes and the mintex 1155 crying ankle after 10
These are by far the best pads I have tried so far and I'm happy to continue to use these in the future

Sorry to hijack thread but have been reading with some interest, as most, i have had indiffernet performnce in the past from EBC and very intrigued by the change for 2010.
So much so that as i need a set of rears i have ordered a set of reds for a very respectable £55 delivered..
My only concern is have i made the right choice? all the talk and reviews are on the Yellow and Blues???

Have i made the wrong choice- rears are currently Brembo ( as are the front)
All my driving is road , but spirited and as living in Milton Keynes plenty of high speed braking..

Just received my sets of front and rear. Many thanks for that. I had used EBC before, especially the 'good'old red and blue. Dont wanna go on too much detail, as most of us that used them before all know how the old ones perform.
I am now running the pf pads all round the brembos for about 300 miles now. No track days only on 'fairly' fast road. Which too be fair, it never fails a beep, no sign of any wearing no sign of skimming my budget drilled and groove disc I bought from Mr bob on here.....
Now I am about to be brave enough to change them all over to the new blue stuff and run it for around the same period of time and see how well it can perform against the already very good performance friction. I will be keeping you guys updated. keep watching this post.. thx

Got the yellow-stuff pads 2-3 weeks ago (thanks Andy) but have only just fitted them as first time I tried I had to take the front calipers off as the previous pads (ds2500's on sti 4-pots) had worn unevenly and on closer inspection a couple of pistons had siezed.
Anyway fast forward a couple of weeks with calipers now refurbed by Ian at Godspeed (good service as ever) and I finally fitted them. Easy to fit (helped by new-looking calipers!) and now with a few miles on them I can back up other people's positive reports. The yellows need bedding in unlike the blues and are continuing to improve. The car is a my99 uk-turbo with sti 4-pots/nitrac frozen discs on the front and type-r 2-pots/godspeed discs on the rear.
The pads are better than the ds2500's I had on before (although the refurbed calipers would of helped) and much better than the red-stuff ceramics I had on before that.

I just cannot make my mind up whether to change to EBC Ultimax discs at the same time or not. Would mean my fronts are standard with Pagid Blues and the rears would be EBC grooved discs with EBC blues. Would that be an issue? LOL.

Was hoping to get a free set to try (Blues front and rear) as I need to replace my Yellow pads.
I just missed out and seeing people are selling them upsets my slow-ness to grab a deal in the first place.

have a look on pistonheads it is someone in the manchester area who is selling them

I'm was planning on fitting mine this weekend well my mate is but its a bit touch and go whether he can and I just don't have the skills. 
If i don't then I'm quite happy to send these out to someone else who wants to test.

Having my fitted 6th September at Taylor Motors while he's doing 90k full service. Just hope my Standard Rusty Discs can cope with em. Everybodys saying how good they are! Least when there fitted I can give it full beans and know am gonna stop! Will post up pics on the 6th with the stickers.

Do not ever put Blues on the rear of the car with any other pad on the front
Blues have a high brake friction than anything I have tested and you will lock the rear unless you make adjustment to your bias.

Yup. Clear and understood! Thx for info. Will stick to Yellows as per my 1st plan then. Will Yellows be ok on rear with Pagid Blue on front?
