asked the operator today as i drove past and he said it has just been cllibrated recently, so will be accurate. they have two weigh bridges , one big one and one small, the reason he put us on the smaller one as it does smaller trucks and would be more accurate for the cars

I put mine on one last month, Without spare/jack/tools it came in at 1335kg, it had about a quarter of a tank and 3-4 litres in the ic spray tank, I do have a set of 5 gauges and a double din DVD fitted but its just about right for what I use it for and picks up very well indeed

Cheers mate, Is yours a UK car or JDM as the front bumper beam on a JDM is lighter as far as I can recall, I know it's lighter than the US ones, All depends on how far you want to take it as you could also remove both front and rear bumper beams saving around 30kgs but obviously this would have an effect on the impact resistance should the worst happen and with 600hp I would be more inclined to leave them in place

Looking good mate, It gets a bit daft after a while does`nt it, Do you know the weight difference between the glass do you?

What rear bench seat do you have, Does it have a centre armrest?
Spec-C has 1 bit of trimmed foam for top and bottom.

yeah it could go on forever but i'm keeping it suitable for the road, i have the jdm rear bench, so no centre arm rest.

unfortunately dont know the weight as i didnt have scales. its 2mm thinner front and rear, i could possible get you weight for front thought as ive not fitted them yet. leave it with me.

edit: i'll take rear glass out again to weight as a chap on type ra forums wants to know the weight of them too, so i'll get weight difference by weekend.

Had my sti v3 down to 1140kg but have since added a cage and refitted the carpets and door cards.
The small amount of weight I saved wasn't noticeable performance wise but was in driving pleasure, im happy to gain a bit of weight for some comfort.

Are you removing the rear door bars but keeping the seats in??

Who do you intend putting in the back - your mother in law?

You will be mixing up the UK classic as that is 200Kg lighter than the Newage regardless of UK or JDM, Its only the Spec-C/Type RA`s that are lighter than the standard models. Yours will be around the 1470KG weight as standard.

6 speed is about 25-30 Kg heavier...Inc clutch/Flywheel etc.

That may be so, but Im a bad passanger anyway, so I could only feel more comfortable at the front given my phobia

I think my problem arose from getting lefts from my mum and sister as a yound teenager (until I could drive), I really cant understand why people drive so close behind other drivers and wounder why the said driver is going through brake pads and discs every other year

We'll need to catch up sometime buddy

lol no worries rob.

just reading this..

http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...on=2&fld_id=41

seems the stripped out rcm team ice was only 1290kg. that is easily achievable if mine was a track car, i got mine weighed with eevrything out with only one driver seat and it was 1295kg. will get it weighed when ive stuck everything i want back in and i'll have a true figure, pretty sure it'll be 1350kg. which i'll be happy with
