Hopefully it won't be too long for you now. Just need to decide what clutch, airfilter and pistons I want. Trying to stay away from doing too many mods at this stage, but it seems a waste not to do it when the engine is out.
I know - you cam get caught up in it all and as you say you can change things thta normally wpould be a pig to get to !
After getting new for the internals you could offset costs on the other bits, eg. I got an RCM induction kit for 80 quid on ebay.

I'll be around tomorrow, if you time it around 6ish you may bump into Dylan.
Thank you.
It never fails to impress me the lengths people go to in order to help someone from Neath
Seriously though, Dylan must have the patience of a saint, top marks fella.
Also well done Rich (REdwards) for donating parts from his own build to help get Simon back motoring (not a very subtle hint above mate
).
Tyron also dipped into his parts bin to help as did I and no doubt several others. Give yourselves a pat on the back and feel proud to have contributed to the build of the fastest auto scoob in Simons street....FACT!

Will pop up and see you on the weekend Simon to have a look at Dylan's hard work.

The ONLY one in the street
Very pleased to have the Bug back home today
- Big Thanks to Dylan
for all his hard work and patience whilst completing this job
There have been some ups and downs
but everything sorted now.
Got some runnning in to do now, then back to Dylan for the oil change and checks, plus some little job's that I have been nagging him for
Not only Dylan, but special thanks to a host of others too - without your help I would have been sunk
:- Part finding, trailers/frames. part borrowing/donating, lifts, support and words of encouragement and angle's of attack !!
Tyron (Cannon Fodder), Dean (Notfub), Richard (Welshy12), James (jimbobWRX), Rich (rsedwards), Mervil, MisterMelon and all who, as above posted words of support

Great to be in SWS

As in the Oscar's, I hope I havn't missed anyone out
this is where I start Crying

Cheers Guy's

Si
P.S. If you need a job doing, never mind the A team, give Dylan a shout !!!
