"Rats?" I don't think so
Maybe get away from your Disney drawn fantasy and come to terms with the fact, they are indeed classed as vermin...and I see your attempted inclination of irony but rats are classed as vermin, by humans also, and would you think them cute? I think not...each individual has a right to view any animal in any way they see fit, however the collective classification is that they are vermin...beautiful or not.
