50 car meet round Luke's gaff? Imagine how he'd crap it

Got stung a few times in the past, was too trusting - wrote my sagas here, read from, "Summer 2002" onward re: Alarm and Bumpers if you're really bored...

You have PM, lets see how long it takes before all those accounts are locked down, if they have the brains.

Got the guys photo here anyway Plus a few others that were on the page that might know of his whereabouts Sure him mum should be easy to find in the Birmingham Argos!
Doesn't really matter that FB is closed.....haha, cops should be able to find him from the photofit amongst everything else.

My bro has emailed direct saying this seems to be a scam so I will await and see if anything comes back from it, dare say if the money comes back all he will have to say to the cops is that it was all a "misunderstanding" or the parts got lost or something and he will have got away with it all to try again another day!

The hell with buying anything from far afield again!! Next time it's pick up only!!

Ha ha very predictable, and not very clever either, just proved 100% he's the guy. And don't worry Luke I screen dumped all your face book pages just in case you locked them down. Nice to see your keeping up to date with whats going on

Or use ebay, and pay via paypal or cash on collection. Got to have used ebay over 100 times for parts. Best thing you can do is drive down. I once drove from manchester to oxford to southampton for a set of lights and an exhaust and they wasnt even for me, 120 quid in fuel and all night trip.

Cheers for all the help guys....looks like I might just end up having to wear that england top....lol. I will make sure and post a photo for you all!

Had a response from the culprit, I have been told it is a "Darren" using Lukes details....if you believe that....and he will refund my money.....but for some reason Luke isn't interested in clearing his name and letting him use his Paypal account to refund the money! Even though Luke will obviously have it in his account......bit fishy that.

Didn't see a Darren on any of them facebook pages either which seems odd given they must be pretty close to allow him access to bank accounts.....

Have got an address for Luke & Jean now so either way they should be able to direct us in Darrens direction....if he exists.

If he does....I'm thinking this could be him:

Shocking what can be found out about someone in a matter of hours on the web. one reason I can't be arsed with FB

I hope you get it sorted and you get the money back. Lesson learned for you, don't part with too much money over the web unless you really trust the seller - The mobile only number on the advert would of put me off.

As said by other, only go and collect/pay cash for items. I've driven from my house to birmingham and back (400 mile round trip) to collect a £150 item before because I didn't trust the seller

but I've sent £350 to someone on here for a set of defi's in the past - but i did do a bit of research on that person before sending the funds

How would you ask for the refund? I'm thinking cash by recorded next day delivery probably safest....not too keen on sending these kind of guys my bank details!

Id fork out the few quid to get the train down there and make him pay you face to face, then pay it in the bank with him in attendance. See the c£$%s face. The shame, oh the shame.
I remember buying a set of Audi S3 whin mirror covers, the chrome ones, and the little **** gave me the runaround for a bit. That is, until I got his number and phoned his MUM! She gave him a right bollocking when I was on the phone! Should have heard his whining! She ordered him to pay me back, and pay me back he did!

Haha......Mum's can always get to the bottom of things pretty quickly!

I would probably expect costs to cover my travel expenses aswell if I were to go down- plus I'm not renowned for my long fuse so maybe just see if he can get it to me by friday then consider going down and/or letting people know the addresses.

Anything of interest down Birmingham way? Might aswell make a holiday of it!

I'm hoping this will be handed over to the Birmingham police force soon anyway to go chap on his door- got the police coming round sometime soon to take a written statement before handing over sure plod will sort it out better than I would! Lol.

By the sounds of everyone on here there will be more going to his house than there is going to the NBO!!
