On another note, is this what passes for a night out nowadays? I'm so glad I'm past all this **** now.
Im afraid in some areas this is the net result of a night out. I go out on the odd works do and last time some chump had a go at me. To be fair, I was drunk so if he had the ***** to just hit me instead of posturing, I would have possibly been in the same position as the OP.

I would report it, the club wont keep the cctv forever so do it now. Onec the attacker is drilled by the law, he will give up the ******* name. Then the ****** might go to the clink (probably not but criminal record nonetheless), matey gets a big black mark for ABH/GBH possibly with intent(kicking you in the face), and you will quite rightly coin in for the pain and misery you are, and will go through for the next year or so.

So let me get this right.....

Some guy who you don't get on with, has a mate who with no provocation is happy to thump a stranger because said whimp asks him to do it. All this on a night out when you are in some boozer where the drinks are only £1 and there was zero provocation on your part?

Just checking that there maybe isn't a slightly different slant on this that you may just have been too drunk to remember.

Not condoning the violence and know only too well that there are so many idiots out there, but just making sure you really are totally innocent in this, when you seem to have 'history' with this guy. Why would someone have reason to be 'scared of you' (in your own words)?

Hope you heal quick

Have you never come across these 'fists for hire' who enjoy smashing people in the face?

I would insist that the authorities take a proper interest in the assault and I hope they will well and truly sort the attacker and the wimp who put him up to it. No way you can be called a grass for reporting ABH like that.

When it has all settled you can spend your life putting the fear of God up the wimp!

I think when the dust has settled, the Police would be very interested in any attacks or threats against said wimp, all being equal.

People who call other people "a grass" = council.

Like to think I keep myself to myself these days and don't provoke potential situations by avoiding making people feel 'scared of me'.

Not having a go at the op at all, I know only too well the type of nutter that is out there, just wondering if there may be a bit more behind this

I completely agree with a question such as this as i would ask the same thing.

So we were in the club which has a student night where it is only a pound a drink, big chain club brand hence how it can be so cheap. It's not some grotty pub down tax evasion avenue, its in centre of all the night life in brighton.

There isn't anyhing im covering up, i can 100% say i am completely innocent and nothing was done, one of my mates who i was with, and it was just me and him at the time, were looking for another mate. the boy who i don't get along with and his mate walk past whilst giving a stare. My mate and the boys mate are chatting because my mate just asked whats the point of staring at him? because in reality, what is the point of staring at someone?

They don't even know each other.

It was at this point when the bloke who hit me came charging over.

And as for the boy, we dont get on because of something over a girl (that old chestnut ) and whenever he's with his mates he gives it his all, but once i saw him on his own. i am quite a lot bigger than him (i'm not big, hes just tiny) and i had a word with him, and since he was on his own he was petrified, shaking and had a feared look on his face.

So i have not done anything to make him scared of me, i have not threatened him or anything, but he just is the wimpy type of person. Needs his mates to make himself feel big.

The classic type really, with his mates he thinks he's got the worlds biggest bollocks, but on his own he really knows his place.

Hope i have cleared this up ?

Sounds like real case of 'wrong time, wrong place' and no doubt the idiot would have vented his own aggresion on some other poor soul had it not been you that got it first...

Hopefully the next guy he thinks about thumping, gives as good as he gets

maybe just best for you to try and put this behind you and focus on having a great time travelling as per your other thread....

Good luck

Yes of course they would, its easier to get another tick on the targets list by having a go at the OP.

The wimp is already frightened of him though and there are ways to get your point across without any form of attack, verbal or otherwise!

Well i think i have found out who the bloke who hit me is.

Got a bit of a character profile from people who know of him.

He has been in and out of jail before, and his whole family is scum. If it is him the police should have details on him already so no need to find his address. Just need my mate to confirm the pics of him i found (gotta love facebook) and then i should have enough to go to the police and for them to do something.

I am gonna go to the police tomorrow after i go back to the hospital for check ups and to make sure my face/jaw isn't mis shaped, going to see what they can do, and make sure they can do something before i decide whether to press charges.

As i have said before i live no where near a council house, infact i live 2 mins away from prestbury, the most affluent village in the country. I may just be a little more "street wise" that you and in every walk of life, round here, going to the police will get you labelled!

Plus they will do sod all, and the **** who fcuked up 18's face will come back for more if he has a knock on the door from the local cunstabulary!

The only way to teach these tw@s a lesson is to do them over properly, then they will think twice before attempting the next pissed up assault!

I would expect them to go straight to the police themselves and claim damages, which they would be likely to get from today's PC Plonkers..

Most clubs have pretty good security these days don't they? A lot of places have to scan your Id before they let you in. As you say they have CCTV. What I can't understand is how did this bloke do that to you and then just walk away?
Did your mates not grab a bouncer?
An ambulance must have been called?
How could they let him get away! He'd have been carted to the police station if they bouncers had got him. They could have viewed the CCTV there and then

He ran at me, i went down, then his mates went for my mate, who started throwing punches for his own defense, and then they all ganged up and there was about 5 or more of them, and two of us, with me already down. the bouncers then came over and took me to the medical room. I don't quite know how the bunch of arseholes got away, i guess they must have just ran. The bouncers in the place i was in are quite useless usually and they have a reputation for being the kind of 'thug like' bouncer.

No ambulance was called, and the people were not found on the night. I even recall the bouncer being quite forceful with me having to leave the medical room even though i was still quite dizzy, but my memory of this is quite faint having just been knocked to the head.

The thing is, the boy who i think hit me, his dad used to, or still does own a bouncer firm, so chances are his son is a bouncer. I just hope the bouncers working that night did not know him and let him get away? slim chance but you never know!

Report the ****! Never mind being called a grass, you aren't one, that's something very different. Fair enough trying to sort out a disagreement with someone, ending up fighting because you both wanted to and then 'grassing' because you got battered, but this was a totally unprovoked attack that ruins people's nights out on a regular basis. Hope you get the guy done for all you can.
