Anybody considering a groupuy on pods and/or fittingkits (other then a sandwichplate)?

Since we have several potential participants ...

 

Mine were delivered today too next door just dropped them round

 

Has anyone had a look at the wiring diagram, if so then what does the 'connect to ACC' mean in sec 7??

It means you need to connect it to a wire that will give 0v when the key is in the off possition and 12v when in the 1 position or acc position.

I suppose there will be one in the wiring to the radio. Thats the place I will be looking once I got my hands on a decent pod.

I wired them all in today using the radio + and -.
All work great

they are not hard to fit you just need to take your time and follow the guides that are out there

looking good fella did the guages also come with the pod as well and how much was it all ?

pod bought from scoobyworld (defi pod)
guages bought seperately

 

Wiring these up was a peice of cake specially on a new age with the clock already having all the feeds i needed , hardest part was removing the alternator and intercooler to get to the existing sensor points on the block.

 

Hope you lot don't have an problems with them as this Danny chap aint intrested in replying to emails,

Really annoys me you wanting to spend money with people and there don't seem intrested

Danny has always responded to me when I have emailed him, and he's given us nothing but top service so far.

 

edit -- im stupid

 

got the gauges fitted and all working fine..BUT,they dont show the shutdown sequence when the ignition is turned off and when the ignition is turned back on all the alarms sound so it sounds like there not keeping there settings.which is the perminant live wire and which is the ignition live wire,it has to be red and orange wires but which is which?

 

if this GB kick's off again "im in !!"
