Hi Ian, hope you're well mate, I've finally got those Showas on my car now. They are a bit on the hard side on anything other than a perfectly smooth road but they've made a hell of a difference to the handling!
Loving the progress on yours, you must've been chuffed to bits when it fired up the first time!
I know of a guy in Stanton near Bury who does bodywork if it's any help.
Alex

Bit of an update, iv been doing bits and bobs when time permits, had a tidy up under the bonnet and a bit of a clean up
Dropped the car of the stands and on to its wheels with everything fitted, first time iv seen the ride height with the engine and box etc fitted, its pulled the car down a few more inches also got rid of the carbon bonnet, just didnt like it, love the way it sits now, should look nice when its all painted.
I have also got myself a rear fire wall, as i want to retain the rear seats for on the road use iv refitted the rear seat brackets and the bar, hopefully the bar being there will also stop the firewall "rolf harrising" when the seats are out and window open.
Iv also gotten a syvecs S6 ecu ready to go in, a massive massive thanks to simone (jgm) for sourcing this for me. your a star chap, cal switch is fitted along with a toggle switch for anti lag and a spare for future use.
Iv also made up and fitted the exhaust brackets, as iv fitted a flat floor i had to do away with the oe brackets, the exhaust is now pulled up nicely to the cut rear bumper higher than the oe position.
All going well the car should be mot`d end of next month, simon is coming down to map it then its going away to have the body work sorted, not long now and she should be finished

Cheers chap, just having a look at your thread them arches look sweet blended into the ta splitter, good work fella .
Was a awesome score fella, have simon to thank for that though, maybe be a bit longer before i get her down to you bud due to getting the ecu but if all works out as planned i may even be able to drive it to you
Iv reverted back to the satin black look im afraid chap, the more i look at it as it is now the more i want to keep the satin black lol.
I may need to get the rear arches done in the next week or two fella for the mot as iv got alot less room there than i originally thought, but will be one less job for you i suppose

Sprayed the car today with its temp spray job lol, iv rubbed it all down and basically rattle canned it, I can't afford a full on paint job before the mapping and didn't want to drive it round all different colours. I think it has actually turned out ok, hard to tell as by time I'd finished spraying had tea then untapped and put back together it was getting dark so hard to tell, any ways here's some pics
Iv got Simon coming down to map it on the 24th next month, then to an mot then a bit more mapping and it'll be ready to go, I can't wait.
Iv gotten a set of 1000cc injectors fitted now so hopefully the fuel system will allow me to go a bit further.
