i love fords and mr2s
hold on a sec isnt this 2010,or have i just been blasted back in time, sierra cosworths and mr2's are old mate everyone has been there done that, you need to bring yourself up to date buddy. iv never known anyone to slag of their own cars like that, but to slag of the whole range on a subaru enthusiasts website smooth move mate, i tell you what go buy yourself a nice 20 year old ford ill get my nice new time attack subaru take them round a track(which is the only place to truely enjoy a real sports car) and we will see who feels more fulfilled at the end of it, you could of course just bring the mr2 in which case i may be scared of being shown up by its power and poise or it could be as you said so much car id **** myself
best advice i can give you mate is sell up and join the mr2 owners club.
see-ya

"Yous" means "You lot" general term, not offencive "Yous are taking the ****" means "You lot are having a laugh" but this can be modified depending on the situation "Yous are away ta get a kicking" means "You are just about to take on a number of neds in a street fight" Best plan for this is to "Nail the mouth piece" hit the one thats making all the noise and shouting the odds as hard as you can. This will normally cause the neds "ta leg it" Disperse!! If this doesn't happen you probably shouldn't have "Got inta the battle if ya dinna have the *****" found yourself in the situation in the first place as yer about to get "Yer *** kicked"
Hope this helps

I served my time on Lancia and alfa's always had some turbo nutter italian rot box that needed welding every week and none of the electrics worked for any longer than 15mins after the MOT. Mostly HF turbo's "cause you got them for nothing and the brand new XR3i couldn't even get near you" Worked my way up to a 16V integrale which "when it was going was pretty dam fast" but cost me 5K in two years just on parts "I'm a mechanic remember". I'm a bit older now with more experiance and a wife and kids so the jap verstion of the "Turbo nutter machine" seems the obvious choice. I hunted around for ages and eventually found a WRX with a totally strait shell and no engine mods but the bloke had stripped it to use as a track car which is fine as I was just after buying a smashed impreza that I'd fitted an engine to 6 weeks before. Turns out that the stripped car I bought has a "Tommy Kaira" front bumper and ECU with 4 pot front callipers. Goes pretty good as well. But the real reason for the misspelling of my username about 15years ago "Just after home computers had been invented" I joined the lancia owners club pissed one night and never realised my typo and the name has just stuck

Horses for courses, I don't can't expect everyone to love our cars, but why did'nt you realise this on the test drive??.
I've driven MR2 turbo's and for me there a bit of a one trick pony, but I would'nt go and buy one, then jump on a MR2 website and slag them off lol.
I think you have to take a slice of humble pie and realise you bought the wrong car for your needs and did'nt really look into your purchase.
Hope you find the right car next time
PS. I'll have short back and sides please!

MR2 turbos are ****!
I've owned two over the years (5 years apart) and quite frankly they are nothing short of ditch finders. OK in the dry but f*cking awful in the wet and utterly unpredictable. Infact I'd go so far to say that in the wet they are dangerous.
My first was a 240bhp Rev 3 my second was a 320bhp rev2.
Whilst you might like unpredictable oversteer that doesnt make for a quick car.
I'd take an impreza over an MR2 anyday.
If you feel the Hawkeye is not for you then sell it. As Duncan Graham has proven with the right mods they can me made to be blindingly quick.
Me personally, I'd take a JDM Classic over ANYTHING!!

Nice to here you again Steve! Your old STI was nice. I think you'll need about 500 BHP in your new one to give the same excitement.
I think you'd find an Evo (not the X) would suit you much better than a recent STI.
I've moved to a GTR now, enjoying tuning them, they can be a right handful when you want them to be

The only Integrale I've driven was probably the most involving car I've ever driven. Not massively fast, but the feedback and responses were sublime. ( The electrics were a different matter as the rear wiper came on when taking roundabouts) Joyous car to drive, but I'd always walk upto it wondering if it would start. ......
