Not keen on Audis but my best mate loves them so much he just chopped in his 1.6 a3 to get an s3. It looks loverly but it just isn't my thing.

BMW's are the same for me, i'd have a Merc over them both anytime. Not the greatest built cars, not the fastest either spec for spec compared to others but they do it for me, they are a proper road rulers.

lol, I have a 420bhp Type R for fun and the weekends, my Audi B8 S4 is for every day use. it is a more relaxing place to be and good fun if i put my foot down, but nothing like the Type R, It does what it does well and thats it,
A car does what it does, if it doesn't suit then try a different car, and as for the drivers every make has them and Subaru has just as many Kn*b`s behind the wheel.

hi there

best greetings from the root of all evil... the whole country is full of Audi/VW freaks
I was alone until this week with my belief the Audi A3 is a car for women Absolutely don't know what could be sporty on that tank err car (it's really lightweight -> +++2 tons? )
VW TDIs -> show 'em your exhausts! the rudest mates of all -.- always giving a "my XY R32 is faster than you WRX..." no chance at all
Great to see they misbehave also in UK
What causes such a misbehaviour? I think that's the marketing of Audi / VW - the advertise gives a sporty image to Audis and the thumb will buy it. Don't discuss, enjoy the cheap insurance (now: around 450 pounds per year with 35% and glass + certain insurance). Don't know how it's rated in GB... Always remembering the great Top Gear episode testing cars for 18 year olds with a VW Golf, Volvo Turbo and a Hyundai (don't know how to write that - seem to be to drunken xD typical for students :X )
If you do a race, insure yourself you've got a worthy taker

with best regards
Nico

it all really depends if you want to be defined by the car you drive

it has never really bothered me, which is why a bought a Subaru in the first place

although I will say that in my experiance all Porsche owners tend to be, physically, very small:-0

will he bite?

but seriously they do seem to be, guy in the village has a GT2 (which he reliably informs me is known as "the widowmaker") is tiny - fit MILF though

I am not making any value judgements (as if I would) just my observation

Well I saw a GT-R at the weekend (not many down these parts) and the driver looked TINY! I think it's partly because the car is so big but it made me smile. He was doing his best "look at me everyone" look in his posh sunnies but actually looked like a munchkin.

an s8 will rip you to shreds mate, and do it every day, all of the time.
in comfort, with 4 passengers without the gearbox blowing up, or the bottom end knocking afterwards
