Just to again clarify tomorrow's route for anyone that's unsure:

(If you take a look at the map I posted on page 1 you will see it's actually a fairly straight forward route with some pretty nice roads to go through! )

We'll be LEAVING Stechford Retail Park (B33 9AN) at 8:30am, and will be driving down the A45, M42, Warwick Road through Knowle and Chadwick End (where a few will join the convoy as we go past), then onto the Warwick Bypass and onto the M40, where we stop at the Services (CV35 0AA) between junctions 12-13 at approx 9:15am to meet up with the rest. Then back onto the M40 for the rest of the way. Prodrive (OX16 3ER) is just off the the M40 - you can see it easily from the motorway! Aiming to get there for around 9:45am.

Looking forward to this now, but I was hoping to clean the car today!

do they just push in then some people have told me they might be screw in ones? im not very good with brakes, i took it apart cleaned it greased it and i only managed to move it a bit if i try a block of wood and g clamp to force it in could that free it up?

 

They just push in,just take your time with the clamp some are harder to push in than others perserverance is the key.

No worries, just be patient with it and grease it a handful of times to be sure.

Can I just stress guys that the only way we can all park up together as a club tomorrow is if we all arrive together, so try and sticker together as much as poss on the final stretch of the convoy (M40)

I managed to quickly wash my Scoob when there was a gap in the clouds but now it's started raining again! lol

 

there's roadworks on the A46 to the Longbridge island this weekend, lanes are closed, came back from Stratford today, queing back to the petrol station.

Just to let you know, See you all tomorrow, didn't manage to clean mine

 

I know mate, saw it earlier but didn't take long to get through the traffic, I'm hoping it won't be too much of a problem tomorrow in the early AM

A pleasure to meet some of you guys today. Very impressed with the range of cars on stand and everyone was welcoming

 

Thanks to all who organised the day - a great priviledge to be at Prodrive to celebrate the P1's Birthday. I can only hope I may be lucky enough to make the 20th!

What a quality day yesterday! Hope you all had fun, I was dead chuffed that the weather held out for us. Highlights had to be almost becoming deaf from "Skullfudge"s P1's exhaust and seeing that quality launch he did in front of the main building, and seeing the old Metro 6R4 in the museum.

The club looked great parked up - we were lucky to get a space big enough toe be fair! Maximum respect to Cliff for being able to park up so well with that spoiler asnd those seats Love it though mate, but those seats are a little "too snug" for my behind

Hope everyone travelling from Stechford enjoyed the route, I know I did, except for the numpty in a Seat, and another in a Morris Minor holding up proceedings

Oh and special thanks to "Dodgey" Dean Rumney for bartering a good price for my pimping new Prodrive battery clamp - it's added at least 10bhp!

Tom. The parking up was "Marshall assisted". No way I could of parked up like that normally. Seats are just part of my diet plan and they stop me chatting up the "big mammas". Cars off the road now waiting for the engine build with twinscroll billet, so i wont be able to get to the next few meets. Look forward though to seeing you and all the others soon..Cheers for listening to all my woes!!!!.
