Yeah I love my CTR and its mint! But you cant beat the impreza's! Its time to change!
What do you think to my link to the impreza? It looks all got to me! Hes coming to me too!

Oh and Tom the chester forged wrx needs new discs and pads both sides to the rear! Funny how hes only told me since I told him im an Ex mechanic!? Iv put him off till sunday so I can see the other one 1st as I prefer that one!

 

ALSO...IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR INPARTICULAR AT ALL WITH THE 02 PLATE BUG EYES? ANY USUAL PROBLEMS ETC? ANY ADVISE WILL BE HELPFUL AND APPRECIATED!

 

Rear shocks are the only real common problem Matt, other than that just look round and look out for things like u would any other car

 

You could have txt me that lol, plus you will be sitting in the back of it listening for them on sunday!

 

Not much tbh, check the gearbox is fine , no whines, crunches etc. check the engine for any leaks, knocks or bangs.

I doubt the WRX will have that issue, its more of an STI thing. If they are shot though you can usually lift the back end and it will stay there when you let go .

Got the impreza now, was very tidy and drives niceley! Will see how it goes now so fingers crossed but doesnt seem to have any problems at all!?

 

evening everyone, hope you all are fine.some of you may know i picked this week last month





only wanted the gearbox for my project type r (6 speed dccd hawkeye box with 40k on it) but ended up sorting out a dream deal and having the whole car lol

i already have a 5speed dccd box out of my other type r so all it needs is a bottom end. i managed to sort out a deal for a sti bottom end which has been up to rcm and had abit of work done on it. picking the block up tomorrow.

the car is down at ryan's (prodriverules) waiting for the short motor to been taking down to him to get it back on the road!!!

since ive been scoobyless (well not scoobyless just not using one lol) for almost a year and having 2 scooby's sitting in garages locked up! im rather happy to say looks like there a light at the end of the tunnel to get me back in a scooby again!! this type r will be my daily car
