just bought a v3 sti engine. only been run for 2 hrs, will need running in. fully forged api rebuild with roger clark pistons, rods,oil pump. redtop manifold. cometic steel gaskets, a nice brass fuel pressure regulator and its been converted to fit in a v2. that was 600 quid with all the receipts. then i had off him brand new unused exedy organic clutch, api lightened fly wheel and brand new rcm uneqal length headers. all for 250. bit of a bargain or what lol. theres a brand new rcm refurbed vf22 there im thinking about as well.

nope clean break. on the lookout for a blobeye. got my eye on a couple now i know what the difference in model's and year.
im not in a rush so gonna wait till i find the one for me in the price range i want.

 

they can only sell it you back at whatever category they right it off at. so if its a cat c or above that means really really cheap. then sell it whole to a breaker. or me lol

 

if your interested i can see how much they want for it, but i really dont want the hassle as i have been through the whole cat c thing before.

hey H your right about that other RA the other week havng wrong engine in it. as it turns out kid who got it blew it up first day he had it. the heads have come off it and... closed deck but not ra heads lol gonna have to start callin ya imprezameister

I just checked to see if my mates cars on askmid an for a laugh I checked L555 BAT the wrc scooby an it come up as a Subaru impreza gl 2wd lol

 

sussed it i think. theres 2 version of ra,s. wrx ra and sti ra. wrx one 160 diff and no dccd and sti ra which has roof flap, 180 diff an dccd. then on top of that youve got the v ltd,s and the 555 v ltd. 555v ltd is sti ra spec with a blueprinted closed deck in it.phew. lol looks like its a v2 555 v ltd im after then
