I'm not too bad thanks kosta, as for the car I'm a little concerned as I'm not sure it's running the right boost pressure. The apexi avcr that's in the car says my maximum boost is 0.7 bar! Which can't be right and when I went in another jdm last Saturday as a comparison it made mine look like an na not an sti

 

Definitely lower than standard I'd say?

0.7 bar is actuator pressure on most cars, so might be worth checking that a hose hasn't come off the turbo/actuator/solenoid. That's the only reason I could think it would be running such low boost!

 

The car I went in on Saturday was supposedly 363bhp (13 more than my quoted figure) and felt like a completely different car, if mine is as fast as that after a remap and a decent exhaust I'm not sure there'll be any need for further power mods as it was unbelievably quick

 

I'd check the pipes first Tom. No way would it be running a map that only runs 0.7bar!

 

I'll get them checked ASAP but as far as I'm aware everything is connected as it runs just fine, saying that though Andy has said that it seems to be really quick sometimes then others its just flat

 

Deffo go in the XT, I'd love to see one Been mental about them but I don't think I've ever seen one in the flesh haha

I Know bud, Dan's been after it for a while now, txt me out of the blue last week, dont really miss it to be honest, he popped down last night, Rally rotational idle was pissing his mrs off so we removed it, tbo he really appriciates the car so i know he'll do his best to look after it, Im happy with that.

Bought me a mint 1986 Audi Quattro, so that'll be my toy till the XT is on the road, still got money burning a hole in my pocket, so if the right classic comes up i may have one as well.

yes mate, not had a week off since my birthday last year so very much looking forward to this one. I've had the odd day here and there and a few days round christmas but nothing proper since september 19th next year

its what the rally cars use to cool the engine on idle runs at about 1500rpm and then drop and revs up really noisey, cool for a while can be annoying.

 

Did you here how loud my old nur spec was?

noise is no issue to me I'm hoping that my remap will transform the car as it's flatter than a witches tit at the minute compared to what it should be

 

Get the new Carberry Rom fitted, Rally Launch is awsome.

 

I quite fancy the new carberry rom but I'd have to see a price before deciding
