aftermarket air filters can cause probs with Mafs

 

Hidden away in Stoke mate Its not sold but has cracked the paint just infront of the scoop with a small dent outwards, Can have it cheap if you want it though

No mate but it needs a small bit of filler on the bottom where its cracked and a quick spray over again so haven't listed it yet.

 

The maf's on late classics are ****e but should be ok on earlier classics so I'm told.

 

Avoid the oiled filters because they upset MAFs. Go for the dry type i.e Apexi

thinking of geting one for my classic

 

Lagamorph mate, if i were you, i'd go FMIC, 3" exhaust, and change my headers for some GT spec ones. 20G's a big turbo and the tubular headers would help it breath better, and although the TMIC is supposed to be good for 400, any car will make more power, when fitted with a FMIC.

If i remember correctly you chose ported headers over tubular as you wanted good spool over power, but there is minimal spool difference between them.
