Brembo calipers will be fine. Just add good discs, fluid, pads and pipes. (in my opinion)
well I will be getting braided brake lines whilst the car is off the road and when it's ready to go back on I will getting fresh fluid, discs were brand new in march this year but might be worth upgrading when new pads go in

It would be good for me to push myself and the car and see how far we can go lol. What is the shoot out I keep hearing about it.
its a scooby shoot out to see who s got the fastest scoob its held every year up in yorkshire costa entered last year he well enjoyed it so now i got ra im going for a bit of fun and a day out.i got no chance of winning it but going to have a good crack and spread the word of wmi
I say 400 as it's a nice round figure but I wouldn't be bothered if I only hit 380 break as long as the car drives how I want it to, I want it to get on boost nice and early and hold the power till the redline. The parts I will be buying will be 400bhp capable, and my car is mainly a fast road car although next year I would like to do a little track time depending how things come along with the styling side that I am going to be doing too as I don't want to be putting a freshly sprayed car on track.
The other thing I want to know is at what power level should I look at upgrading my brembos?
Fair enough mate - I thought you may have been 400 and 399 isn't good kinda thing, my bad, thats where is gets mad lol
i'd personally update brakes before a map altogether - I found the standard STI setup is good for 320ish, any more an they struggle, I had mine glowing which wasn't good at all - as they went applying.
Not sure what to use though - H supplied all my stuff

not at all mate I say 400 as everything I plan on buying will be 400 capable but if my engine only manages 380 safely then that's fine, I definitely don't want to over stress the engine and end up rebuilding it a couple of months after spending shed loads of cash to get a good spec. I have a friend of a friend that might be able to get me some pro r alcon 6 pots cheap or better than cheap so I will see what he comes up with before I definitely decide as it doesn't really matter if the brakes are left till a week before it's due back on the road as it won't be used until it's ready, it may get a little trip round the block here and there but nothing that would require any heavy braking anyway
