H, I have to agree. A bit early for my Caiden to giving me cuddles but he makes up for it when I make him giggle and to be hearing that laughter everyday is the best feeling ever.

I believe it had previously been mapped on a weak fuel pump.

So that got swapped, but the map wasn't redone to suit before it first hit the dyno?

Then after that Black Widow took the time to go over the map again on the road, then chucked it back on the dyno and hey presto, extra power

bit of a story but i'll keep it short ish,

i've been playing with the car for quite a while and as it not mine only on the odd 1/2 day have we had the chance to have a look diagnose so to speak.

it started with a K&N induction way back in 2010 which we mapped in, then in early 2011 my good buddy got hold of a HKS, he said it didnt feel right, the car just wasnt having any of it detting up top hence lean and so on, tried a number of things as it originally came as a ppp thinking uprated fuel pump, anyway we went back to standard airbox with K&N Panel filter, and again mapped accordingly, controlled det/lean but lacked a feel of free reving, id originally check the NPS which seemed fine but never check on a pull, hey presto partly to blame, went back to induction kit knowing we could still have issues with det/lean and yes that was the case, finally bit the bullet and changed the pump for a RCM 300L, all the fueling went the other way clearly, in my infinate wisdom() instead of starting again with a new base map on the Friday night, id been playing with the same map from before with all the number off issues,

anyway crap figures on Saturday at WMI meet at RCM, so on the Monday i started again with a new base map, all was better, spent about 3hr road mapping it and just on the off chance i phoned Olly to see if the Dyno was free, just to see if i was going in the right direction, theres still more to do on it but as its been a learning curve to say the least im glad we're heading in the right direction and i think my buddy's happier now.

The secret mission is still in the pipeline, hopefully, this weekend I'll know whether it all comes together.

I'm starting to get more confident in using scoobynet and noticed I've hijacked the WMI general chat section.
