I had my first road rage of the year today.
What a lovely day it was today, nice and warm, no beating sun just nice. Perfect hood down weather.
So i was going home, after a long day at work. I came upto a two lane junction. I was in one lane going round and Mr White Van Man (WVM) was in the other. As we go round the bend MVM decides to jump in my lane only he can't. So he tries the squeezing thing and gave me an evil look out of his side window however this guy was making such a crap attempt at squeezing in traffic he became annoying, so i just went around him and carried on with my journey. I did not cut him up or anything as there was another car stopping his progress as muppet decided to straddle two lanes.
Anyway i had to go round the roundabout and pass him in the opposite direction, he was pointing his finger at me, with a big red face, shouting something along the lines that he is going to kill me
My first reaction is to brush him off and ignore and write him off as jealous. However when i see him coming up behind me i thought great just what i need to end my week. My first thought was to drive to a quiet location, and kick **** out of him but then reality kicked in as i realised that i was fasting for the day so energy levels are not so great and the last thing i need on a Friday evening is a beating from some big burly red faced bloke.
Now i see that the lights ahead of me are red, WMV is approaching fast, i see a side road which i take then i notice WVM taking it too as he is taking it i spot a cul de sac on my left with a load of parked cars and garages. I turned into the cul de sac and parked next to a large car which obscured my car completely. I then noticed WVM go straight past the cul de sac looking very angry. I waited for a couple of mins in case he is scoping the area and then i carried on with my journey.
I had a smug feeling of a little James Bond.

Just a word of warning to anyone getting involved in road rage/fight etc....
Had a big guy a month or 2 back try and start a fight with me in the road, he hit me in the jaw so I had to defend myself of course
give him a few back and someone broke us up so i left straight after as this guy was clearly a loon! thought nothing of it for a week until the police came knocking, this guy had only gone and told the police I had beat him while he was sat in his car 
. I asked what injuries he had sustained and the plod told me his face was bruised and he had broke his hand!! 'obviously on my jaw' i told them 
, no I was told I knocked him over, 'how could I do that if he was sat in his car?' I asked, case was pretty much thrown out after that. My point is these people are crafty so call the police first no matter how minor it was!

Mind you I do look like a baby driving my Mazda however in hindsight I'd try my best to keep things from getting violent. I can't afford to be charged with some assault type offence I've got too much to lose.
thats interesting i typed the word S H I T was a bit sleepy, but its been changed, would this be admin doing it.

Shaid, horrible story mate. Least you kept your cool, you might have battered the idiot but you would have ended up getting the worse off in the long run coz he'd prob cry to the rozzers.
I overtook a minibus on a 60mph road in my snot-mobile and i had about 500 or 600 yards ahead with traffic on the opposite side of the road.
No one flashed their lights, 3 vehicle in (a huge fookin lorry) decided to pull out midway between the two lanes giving me some rude signs lol and flashing his light at me even though there wasnt a problem. I just think idiot.
When I used to drive to london 3 or 4 times a week, i was a road rager, everything got my nerves (8 hours of driving, you just want to get from A to B). In the end I frightened myself with how wound up I became.
Took a different view on roads and now nothing phases me.... Well, most of the time

That's deffinately a plan, went out in a fellow members car lastnight, mine not being a daily driver, you realise just what great cars these are, wish I had a job that allowed me to drive it all the time. May even see if I can squeeze a few more ponies out of it.
