A 3 inch yes but this maybe a cheaper option http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/...APTOR_KIT.html the miltek should be 3" all the way though are you using your own downpipe or something?

No mate, im not sure whats gone on, the front end (where it connects to the downpipe) is the std 3", the rear end (where it meets the end can) has been changed to a 2.5" flange, my end can is a std 3" flange.
2 options, buy a new end can.... or 2. get the garage to cut off the 2.5 and weld a 3" flange onto it. either way its gona cost me £100!!

If you want to drop the silenced centre section it would probably be an idea to just buy a new 3" centre section maybe? especially if its going to cost £100 to change it anyway.

https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...group-buy.html

I'd measure the centre and see if its the 50" (newage) or 54" (classic style) legnth one that you need (been there done that ) £85 i think

What would give me better performance, the miltek with the correct 3" flange, or the new section you sugested?

Harvey on here does the manifold stuff. In regards to custom downpipes I would recommend Hayward&Scott as that is where I had my custom exhaust sections, turbo back, made

I personally wouldnt be happy with a messed with pipe but if its the milltek with the silencer you would def notice a difference in sound. Totally up to you mate millteks arent a cheap system but I couldnt see there being any difference in performance. Everyone elses opinion may differ though.

Sound H, looks like it will be a good day out, as long as it's well organised which it looks to be.
