Hello W.M.I...
After almost 2 weeks of being messed about trying to do a p/x deal on my classic i'm gonna keep it.The used car market is crazy at the moment and carn't get a decent deal.
(Loads of chancers and dodgy dealers)....

A 3 inch yes but this maybe a cheaper option http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/...APTOR_KIT.html the miltek should be 3" all the way though are you using your own downpipe or something?
2 options, buy a new end can.... or 2. get the garage to cut off the 2.5 and weld a 3" flange onto it. either way its gona cost me £100!!

I am up for supporting as many clubs as poss (thats the way it should be)
We will discuss it closer to the time
WMI will be holding a large national (local) event in the future too, plans have been underway since Jan

No mate, im not sure whats gone on, the front end (where it connects to the downpipe) is the std 3", the rear end (where it meets the end can) has been changed to a 2.5" flange, my end can is a std 3" flange.
2 options, buy a new end can.... or 2. get the garage to cut off the 2.5 and weld a 3" flange onto it. either way its gona cost me £100!!

I'd measure the centre and see if its the 50" (newage) or 54" (classic style) legnth one that you need (been there done that ) £85 i think

I personally wouldnt be happy with a messed with pipe but if its the milltek with the silencer you would def notice a difference in sound. Totally up to you mate millteks arent a cheap system but I couldnt see there being any difference in performance. Everyone elses opinion may differ though.
